I surrender

Hi everyone! It’s Sunday again and I just attended an online worship service by our church through Facebook live. Yes this pandemic has altered our ways in so many ways including the way  we spend our Sundays. Thanks to technology, we can still listen to worship songs, hear and share God’s words to refuel our souls. It’s a good thing that this pandemic happened in the digital age.

People are already  talking about the new normal. What did you realize in this so called, lock down, quarantine, stay at home situation? I  believe that in all things, God is working. There is still something good happening behind this pandemic and today I want to share with you a  message from our church Pastor.

Don't settle on what's temporary

Our sources of temporary happiness are taken from us. Milk tea? Cinema? Going to the mall and eating at your favorite restaurants? The stuff we use to enjoy that bring us temporary happiness is suddenly beyond our reach. But why settle for the temporary? For so long, we are so distracted by money, the things the world offers and our hearts tends to forget the most important thing in life.

As the quote goes “by failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.”  During this time, there is still time to pick the right choices, pursue better relationship with our Lord and our families, seek the Lord while he may be found, call Him. Maybe there is something big that God wants us to realize. God is here to empower us to win out battles, acknowledge that He is the Lord our savior in our life.  God came to have a relationship with you.  Religion does not matter. Our victory begins at the moment we surrender our life to the Lord . If you don’t surrender to Christ, you surrender to chaos because God without man is God, but man without God is nothing.  Accept Jesus as our savior, believe He died on the cross for our sins.

Life indeed is full of events and surprises. May we not forget in every moment of our life to count our blessings and be grateful not only during good times but also during bad times.

Share this with your friends :)
